PEC Round 3 – 12 Hours of Le Mans Recap: Mustang #126 Powers Through the Storm

Round 3 of the PEC took us to the legendary Circuit de la Sarthe for a grueling 12-hour endurance race, and what a wild ride it was for our PRO class duo, Ruben Berings and Kevin Daniels, behind the wheel of the Ford Mustang #126.

Ruben took on qualifying duties and secured P15 on the grid. Right from that moment, it was clear this race was going to be a challenge from start to finish. The tension was high, and the weather had its own plans, relentless rain that turned the track into a slippery minefield.

Both Ruben and Kevin had their hands full all race long. Multiple spins kept the adrenaline levels maxed out, but thankfully, they managed to avoid any major damage. The tricky Mustang proved unpredictable in the wet, often spinning without warning and keeping both drivers on edge throughout the 12 hours.

In the end, the duo brought it home in P9, a result that felt like a win after everything they'd been through. Both drivers, seasoned sim racers, said it was one of the most demanding races they've ever experienced.

Unfortunately, our Ferrari #226 was unable to start the race, but the team will return in the next round.

Hats off to our drivers for the resilience, teamwork, and pure racing spirit. On to the next one!
