DDK Racing Team Shines in a Thrilling Wishful 2025 Series Round 2 at Sebring!

What a race! Round 2 of the Wishful 2025 Series at Sebring International Raceway delivered an unforgettable 4 hour battle, packed with drama, strategy, and unpredictable weather.
Our LMP2, driven solo by Gilles Philippaerts, was on a stellar run, fighting at the sharp end of the field. Gilles was sitting in P3 when, unfortunately, a costly mistake on pit exit in the tricky wet conditions led to a crash with just 30 minutes to go. Despite the setback, he still managed to bring the car home in P14, showing incredible perseverance.
In GT3, our Acura NSX GT3 duo of Andrew Fairley and Ruben Berings executed a flawless strategy, keeping their cool when the conditions got tricky. Their consistency and clean driving were rewarded with an impressive P3 finish, a well-earned podium!
The highlight of the day came in GT4, where Kevin Daniels and Brecht Berings piloted our Mercedes-AMG GT4 to a P1 victory! A textbook performance from start to finish, executing perfect pit stops and maintaining relentless pace, secured them the top step of the podium.
A huge thank you to all our drivers for their hard work and commitment. The team showed skill and teamwork under challenging conditions, on to the next one!
